Polish Hill River Aged Release
Polish Hill River Aged Release

Fresh lime with light tropical acacia.
A bright light gold with green reflections suggests freshness and liveliness. The clear and bright color indicates the mineral character and maturation of this exceptional Riesling.
The bouquet opens with intense aromas of lime, lemon and a hint of tropical fruits. Subtle honey and petroleum notes, complemented by floral accents of acacia and orange blossom, add depth and complexity.
The palate shows a lively, well-integrated acidity, carried by ripe tree fruits such as apricot and green apple. The creamy texture harmonizes with mineral notes and a hint of nuts and caramel. The finish is long and precise.
This Riesling from the Clare Valley is cultivated on slate and sandstone soils. The long maturation gives it a unique balance of freshness and depth, while the low alcohol structure underlines its elegance. A tribute to the terroir of the Polish Hill River region.
The Paulett family crossed half a continent after deciding to make wines big where they had previously been small. They now make the world's best Riesling and Shiraz.
In the 1980s, Neil and Alison Paulett decided to move to the Polish Hills in the Clare Valley. Australia was in recession and suffering from a severe drought. They chose the most beautiful place in the whole of the Clare Valley, a region that was only just making a name for itself as a wine region. Everything spoke against it, but the Paulett couple fought their dream through and are now the proud address for the best Riesling in the world (Best of 500 - International Riesling Challenge). The younger Paulett generation, Matt and Ali, now have the reins and are successfully driving the family business forward. They continue to produce Riesling, Shiraz and sparkling wines.
