In the 1980s, Neil and Alison Paulett decided to move to the Polish Hills in the Clare Valley. All of Australia was in a recession and also plagued by a severe drought. They chose the most beautiful place in the entire Clare Valley, a region that was just making a name for itself as a wine region. Everything was against them, yet the Paulett couple pushed through their dream and are now the proud address for the best Riesling in the world (Best of 500 - International Riesling Challenge). Meanwhile, the younger Paulett generation, Matt and Ali, are at the helm and successfully driving the family business forward. They continue to produce Riesling, Shiraz, and sparkling wines.
