This wine-made Flamenco is ruby red with violet reflections.
The aromas are earthy and hearty: cherry jam, plum jam, dark chocolate, smoked almonds, coarse black pepper and roasted sesame. We also detect traces of dark bread crust and beef jerky.
On the palate, the heavy wine is a spicy powerhouse. It would be clumsy if it weren't for the very fine acidity that brings the wine into a juicy balance. The tannin is very wild, dominant and spicy.
The Baloiro is flamenco made “wine”: intense, powerful, precise and with a lot of passion in the eyes.
