Gris de Cocotte Rosé

Weinbeschreibung

Juicy raspberry with delicate cassis florality.

The Domaine Grains d'Estuaire Gris de Cocotte Rosé has a delicate, salmon-colored robe with fine, shiny reflections in the glass. The color indicates an elegant and light rosé that is ideal for summer days.

On the nose, this rosé unfolds a multifaceted bouquet of red berries, especially raspberries and currants, accompanied by fine notes of cassis. A subtle floral component harmoniously rounds off the aromatic profile.

On the palate, the wine is light and balanced. The fruity aromas are supported by a pleasant acidity that provides freshness and makes the wine seem lively. The finish is harmonious and persistent.

This rosé is made from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the Atlantic region of Charentais. The vinification is carried out with particular attention to preserving freshness and fruitiness, making this wine a perfect summer treat.

Domaine Grains d'Estuaire

A grain of Bordeaux: Biodynamic terroir wines from the most legendary estuary.

The wine world of the Bordeaux region is shaped by the rivers Garonne and Dordogne. These flow together in the gigantic Gironde estuary, which also gives the department, i.e. the federal state, its name. The wine game of Bordeaux wines distinguishes between right and left of the estuary. The proximity to the Gironde is always relevant. This proximity is also offered by the neighboring region of Charente Maritime and especially the small town of Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde. This is where Julien Bonneau, a respected Bordeaux winemaker from Château Haut Grelot in Blayais, and Alexandre Lavigne, a talented chef from Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, joined forces. On the pebble-rich soil along the Gironde estuary, they cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards using organic and biodynamic methods. Through a careful selection of traditional grape varieties and a deep respect for the terroir, Grains d'Estuaire produces gastronomic wines of exceptional quality and expressiveness that capture the essence of Charente-Maritime and its legendary neighborhood, at prices that Bordeaux fans can only dream of.
