wine description

Green apple with a hint of honey.

This Riesling impresses with its bright, light lemon yellow color with greenish reflections. The clear and bright color already indicates the freshness and liveliness of the wine.

The nose reveals a complex bouquet of green apple, citrus fruits such as lime and lemon, and subtle floral notes of elderflower and honeysuckle, accompanied by mineral accents.

On the palate, the wine is lively and fresh with a pronounced acidity structure. Aromas of green apple and citrus fruits dominate, complemented by a fine mineral note and a hint of honey in the aftertaste.

The grapes for this Riesling come from the best locations in the Rheingau and are carefully harvested by hand. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and clarity of the aromas. This makes it a typical representative of the region.

Wineyard Künstler

The Hochheim VDP great with a moving family history.

The Künstler winery looks back on an eventful history that stretches back to the 17th century. After the family was expelled from South Moravia after the Second World War, Franz Künstler founded the winery in Hochheim am Main in 1956. Today it is run by his son Gunter Künstler, who continues his father's legacy with passion and a spirit of innovation. The winery now covers over 50 hectares, planted primarily with Riesling and Pinot Noir. Under Gunter Künstler's management, the winery has received numerous national and international awards. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern cellar technology makes it possible to produce wines of the highest quality that perfectly reflect the terroir of the Rheingau, including 8 VDP.Grosse Lagen. Innovation, sustainability and environmentally friendly cultivation methods are central components of the winery's philosophy and guarantee of Künstler's success.
