wine description

Crisp cherry with complex floral notes.

Marion's Vineyard 2021 presents itself in a vibrant ruby red, clear and radiant in the bottle.

This Pinot Noir captivates with aromas of fresh strawberries, juicy cherries and a floral note of violets, creating a harmonious and inviting bouquet.

On the palate, a smooth texture unfolds with notes of ripe berries, accompanied by a hint of spices and a refreshing acidity that offers a lively and long-lasting finish.

Marion's Vineyard 2021 has been lovingly aged in French oak barrels, giving the wine a subtle vanilla note and perfecting its structure and complexity.

In 1998, Kai emigrated to New Zealand with his partner Marion, who also became a winemaker. In Martinborough, in the very south of New Zealand's North Island, the two began planting vines on 14 hectares and realizing their dream of owning their own winery. In 2003, the first wines from Schubert Wines finally came onto the market. The success story begins...
