wine description

Dark forest fruit with vanilla chocolate.

The Schubert Block B Magnum 2017 presents itself in the magnum bottle with a deep, impenetrable purple color that underlines the concentrated power of this Pinot Noir.

An intense scent of dark forest fruits, accompanied by notes of cedar wood, tobacco and a hint of vanilla, unfolds in the nose.

The mouthfeel is opulent and smooth, while the taste reveals an abundance of ripe cherries, dark chocolate, fine spices and silky tannins.

The magnum bottle of Schubert Block B 2017 was carefully matured, with the grapes being allowed to mature for a longer period and developing their unique structure in high-quality oak barrels.

In 1998, Kai emigrated to New Zealand with his partner Marion, who also became a winemaker. In Martinborough, in the very south of New Zealand's North Island, the two began planting vines on 14 hectares and realizing their dream of owning their own winery. In 2003, the first wines from Schubert Wines finally came onto the market. The success story begins...
