Pinot Gris Estate 2021

Pinot Gris Estate
Pinot Gris Estate

Creamy peach with almond blossom.
The Pinot Gris from 50th Parallel Estate impresses with a straw yellow color and bright silvery reflections.
The lush nose brings creamy peach, apple blossom, almond blossom and mace. Fruity apple peel, apricot, ladyfingers and white pepper provide an exciting range of aromas.
Everything is soft and smooth on the palate. A subtle acidity ensures freshness and flow. Light minerality provides a stricter structure and grip. The wine is very tidy and straightforward. Light-footed and elegant. Delicate and proportioned.
To maintain freshness and fruit, 80% of this Pinot Gris was matured in stainless steel tanks. Only 20% was matured in oak barrels, which creates an exciting barrique nuance.
Curtis works ultra-professionally and pays attention to detail.
Curtis Krouzel: Initiator, owner, simply the man behind 50th Parallel Estate Winery – what a guy! Looks – a rock star who rarely takes off his sunglasses. Hobby – a passionate surfer and fan of the WSL (World Surf League). But at the core, he is above all a man with a big heart, down-to-earth and not aloof, ultra-professional and obsessed with detail. And full of passion for 50th Parallel every minute. The result: amazing wines and a winery that you just have to visit!
