On the nose, the Jürgen Ellwanger Nikodemus Candidus Trocken unfolds complex aromas of grapefruit, lemon, and fresh grapes, accompanied by subtle notes of apple and a hint of oak.
On the palate, the wine is creamy and full-bodied, perfectly balanced with a fine acidity. The flavor palette includes citrus fruits, tree fruit and a delicate dried fruit note.
The grapes come from sustainably managed vineyards in Württemberg. The gentle vinification, partly in wooden barrels, gives the wine creaminess and underlines the complexity of its aromas.
The VDP winery Jürgen Ellwanger can look back on a wine-growing tradition that is over 500 years old. With 26 hectares of vineyards, divided into various locations in Württemberg, the wines are particularly characterized by their unique terroir. The main grape varieties include Riesling, Lemberger and Trollinger.
