Laudun
Juicy cherry with aromatic herbs.
In the glass, the wine presents itself in a dense ruby red with violet reflections – like velvet in the evening light. The color intensity is deep and striking, almost inky, already offering a first hint at the maturity and power of this Rhône Cuvée.
The nose offers a complex bouquet: ripe raspberries, a hint of candied rose, dark cherry, and oriental spices like cinnamon and pimento. Underlying this are subtle notes of lavender and dried herbs – warm, floral, and spicy all at once. Very elegantly composed.
On the palate juicy, round and with a fine grip. The texture is silky but not smooth – more like a well-fitting suit with a rough lining. Fresh red fruits, pepper, herbal spice and a hint of liquorice lead to a long, elegant finish with beautiful freshness.
The grapes come from terraced vineyards with south and north exposure – this gives the wine balance and depth. Hand harvesting, classic mash fermentation at 25°C, separate vinification of the grape varieties, and gravity flow in the cellar ensure precision and an authentic terroir profile.
