    Weinbeschreibung

    Cool quince with salty lemon.

Golden yellow - bright and luminous with clear green reflections - this is how this wine shines in the glass.

The aromas present themselves cool and refined on the nose: quince, straw and lemon.

The Riesling's incredible precision and subtle fruitiness are evident on the palate. The incredibly fresh, crisp and lively acidity is surrounded by a salty, mineral note that creates a fragrant and juicy whole.

This wine is the perfect introduction to Johannes' Riesling universe.

    Goldatzel winery

Family winery in a historic wine town.

It is no exaggeration to call Johannisberg in the Rheingau the cradle of Riesling. For several hundred years, wines have been produced here that have significantly shaped the image of German Riesling - nationally and internationally. The term "Spätlese" was coined here at the end of the 17th century, and we now know it as a quality level for all German wines. With their 12-hectare Goldatzel winery, the Groß family runs one of the venerable and traditional Riesling hotspots. In order to produce particularly intense and multifaceted Rieslings, Johannes Groß focuses on quartzite-rich vineyards.
