    Weinbeschreibung

Mineral apple with elegant citrus fruit.

In terms of color, the Beste Fass presents itself in a radiant golden hue, reflecting the sun of the Rheingau and interwoven with delicate greenish reflections.

The nose is enchanted by intense notes of juicy apples and refreshing lime, accompanied by a hint of floral honey that underlines the complexity of the Riesling.

A perfect balance between freshness and fullness unfolds on the palate. The taste of crisp apples and limes is accompanied by a light mineral structure that leads to a dry, refreshing finish.

This Riesling underwent careful vinification and maturation in the winery's best barrel. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques gives this wine a unique depth and expressiveness.

    Goldatzel winery

Family winery in a historic wine town.

It is no exaggeration to call Johannisberg in the Rheingau the cradle of Riesling. For several hundred years, wines have been produced here that have significantly shaped the image of German Riesling - nationally and internationally. The term "Spätlese" was coined here at the end of the 17th century, and we now know it as a quality level for all German wines. With their 12-hectare Goldatzel winery, the Groß family runs one of the venerable and traditional Riesling hotspots. In order to produce particularly intense and multifaceted Rieslings, Johannes Groß focuses on quartzite-rich vineyards.
