wine description

Juicy raspberry with subtle cherry.

This wine presents itself in the glass with a vibrant, deep red color and a clear, brilliant core that reflects the elegance of Sangiovese.

The nose reveals intense aromas of fresh red fruits, especially raspberry and red cherry, accompanied by subtle notes of leather and earthy character.

On the palate, the wine is light and smooth with well-integrated tannins. The taste of red fruits dominates, accompanied by a harmonious acidity that gives a pleasant freshness.

Il Marroneto relies on traditional methods to preserve the authentic characteristics of Sangiovese. The vines grow in the picturesque Montalcino region and the wine is carefully aged in oak barrels.

Il Marroneto is a small winery in Montalcino, Italy, run by brothers Andrea and Alessandro Mori. On 6 hectares with over 30 years of commitment, they produce only about 25,000 bottles of Brunello annually. Traditional winemaking in large oak barrels gives the wine elegance, richness of aromas and classic quality, the result of passionate craftsmanship. A real boutique winery.
