wine description

Juicy apricot with buttery tropical fruit.

The Fritz Waßmer Sommerhalde Bombach Grauer Burgunder 2017 presents itself in a golden tone with greenish reflections, which shines in the glass and indicates its maturity.

Complex aromas of apricot, apple and a subtle tropical note unfold on the nose. Yeasty nuances and a hint of butter give it depth and elegance.

On the palate, the wine is smooth and round, with a strong finish. Creamy texture, tropical fruits and a subtle oakiness ensure an enjoyable experience.

This Pinot Gris was produced with dedication at the Fritz Waßmer winery in Baden, Germany. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards and the vinification was carried out using modern techniques to preserve the unique aromas. Aging in oak barrels gives the wine a harmonious structure and long-lasting complexity.

The Fritz Waßmer winery, founded in 1998, combines tradition and innovation in Baden winemaking. Fritz Waßmer, inspired by Burgundian elegance, produces powerful wines, shaped by experience at the "Domaine de la Romanée Conti". The dedication to Pinot Noir and the expansion of the range to include Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier are testament to a passionate commitment to quality and diversity.
