Barbera d'Asti Superiore Tinella Vigna Rorisso
Barbera d'Asti Superiore Tinella Vigna Rorisso
Intense blackberry with a complex vanilla bouquet.
A deep, dark ruby red shimmers in the glass and promises an intense, colorful experience. The density of the color indicates the concentration and depth that this wine brings.
Intense aromas of blackberry and plum dominate, accompanied by subtle notes of chocolate and vanilla. Hints of cherry and red fruit complete the rich, complex bouquet.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and soft with a lively acidity. The gentle tannins harmonize perfectly with the fruity and spicy notes, which lead to a long, elegant finish.
The Barbera d'Asti Superiore "Tinella" is grown on clayey-calcareous soils in Castagnole Lanze. Its grapes are carefully selected and vinified to capture the essence of the Piedmont region. This dedication to quality makes the wine unique.
Serving the Terroir since 1781 – Wine with Heart, Rooster, and Hand
Imagine entering a wine cellar whose foundation was laid over 200 years ago. Above the heavy wooden door, a carved rooster proudly displays itself – the heraldic animal of the Carosso family, which gave the winery Cascina Galarin its name. Wine has actually been growing here in Castagnole delle Lanze since 1781, but it wasn't until Giuseppe Carosso joined the business in the late 1980s that a new era began: He bottled under his own name for the first time and radically shifted the philosophy to quality and terroir. Today, Giuseppe and his sons Marco and Giovanni work hand in hand. On only about seven hectares of vineyards, distinctive organic wines are produced here. The oldest Barbera vines are almost 90 years old – a living heritage that the Carossos cultivate with dedication. Their passion is dedicated to the classic varieties of Piedmont: Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Moscato... Even their own Barolo from Monforte d'Alba is now part of their portfolio. Whether it's a fruity-sparkling Moscato d'Asti, a mineral-clear Arneis, a profound Barbera, or an elegant Barolo – the wines of Cascina Galarin bring the diversity of Piedmont into the glass, honest and unadulterated. It's no wonder that this small family winery is considered a real insider tip among connoisseurs. Discover Cascina Galarín at the foot of the Alps – or as the Romans say: "Ad pedem montium" – in Piedmont.
