Feudo di Mezzo
Feudo di Mezzo
Intense blackberry with subtle oak notes.
A deep ruby red with garnet reflections, the Cusumano Alta Mora Feudo di Mezzo Etna Rosso 2014 presents itself clear and promising in the glass.
Its bouquet reveals intense notes of cassis and blackberries, accompanied by a hint of light oak aroma and a harmonious balance.
On the palate, the wine is well balanced with earthiness and a dry finish. The aromas of red fruits blend with subtle oak notes.
This wine is made from the Nerello Mascalese grape, grown on the slopes of Mount Etna in southern Italy and aged in oak barrels, giving it its unique character.
Cusumano, founded in 2000 by brothers Diego and Alberto, is one of Sicily's largest wine producers with over 450 hectares. The winery reflects the diversity of Sicilian terroirs, from San Giacomo in the south to Ficuzza near Palermo. The new Alta Mora winery on Mount Etna marks a milestone. With varieties such as Nero d'Avola, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, Cusumano produces high-quality wines, rated "astonishing" by tasters.
