Buttery apricot with subtle tropical fruit.

In the glass, this Meursault presents itself with shimmering golden-yellow and a delicate play of light – as if someone had bottled warm sunlight in liquid form. Its clear, almost creamy density announces that substance meets elegance here – a white wine with presence and depth.

On the nose, a multi-layered dance: buttery toast, almond slivers, ripe apricot, a touch of vanilla, and a hint of wet stone. Beneath that, flashes of tropical fruit – pineapple, mango – and then back again to chamomile, chalk, and a fine yeasty note. Layer upon layer. A grand spectacle.

Creamy on the palate, yet with grip – as if butter were rubbing on slate. Juicy pear, toasted nuts, and a splash of lemon provide tension. Subtle bitterness in the finish is reminiscent of white almond skin. Elegant, mineral, long. A Chardonnay with backbone and fine traction.

The single vineyard "Les Narvaux" is located above the Premier Crus on barren limestone soil – a site with natural stress that promotes balance and expression. Spontaneous fermentation, aging in barriques (partly new, partly used), long aging on lees: No Chardonnay is just "made" here, character is created.

Burgundy's natural diversity in a glass – cherished worldwide for generations.

The roots of Domaine Jean Féry date back to the 19th century, when the family cultivated not only wine but also currants in the Burgundian village of Échevronne (Side Note: Legend has it that these black currants once formed part of the perfume icon Chanel No. 5). In 1980, Marcelle and Jean Féry founded the winery under their own name, and their son Jean-Louis Féry took over in 1988. With great passion, he expanded the family winery with new vineyards and modern cellar technology. Today, the vineyards cover about 14 hectares – spread across numerous renowned appellations from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte Chalonnaise. The winery has been organic certified since 2011. In the cellar, the team relies on traditional methods, carefully tending to the wines and avoiding unnecessary technology. Jean-Louis' motto is simple: "Quality is priceless." The next generation is already at the helm: his sons Frédéric and Laurent continue to run the Domaine with the same passion. You can taste all of this in every bottle – Burgundy to fall in love with, honest and unadulterated.
