Weinbeschreibung

Fragrant honey with mineral orange blossom.

In the glass, a clear, pale straw yellow with greenish reflections is evident. The color appears fresh and lively, without being thin. Fine streaks run down evenly, suggesting substance. Visually, a white wine with Mediterranean clarity and a clean appearance.

Inviting, fragrant aromas of orange blossom and honey dominate, clear and appealing. Beneath lies a subtly shimmering mineral note, bringing freshness and tension. The aroma is open, clean, and calmly structured, without becoming sweet or excessive.

A seductive body of spices and a hint of minerality lend weight and structure, with a creamy texture that leads to a long-lasting and complex finish.

The Tribianco is a cuvée of indigenous grape varieties, harvested in the cooler morning hours. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, with short lees contact for texture. The deliberate decision to forego wood maintains the focus on freshness, drinkability, and clear origin.

After completing his viticulture studies in Geisenheim, the career changer began a worldwide search for the right place for a winery with the best conditions for Pinot Noir - and he chose New Zealand. In 1998, Kai emigrated to New Zealand with his partner Marion, who also became a winemaker. In Martinborough, in the very south of New Zealand's North Island, the two began planting vines on 14 hectares and realizing their dream of owning their own winery. In 2003, the first wines from Schubert Wines finally came onto the market. The success story begins...
