    Weinbeschreibung

    Ripe peach with lush mango.

Clear and brilliant, with a rich golden-yellow that sparkles like late summer sun in the glass. Slight viscosity forms elegant streaks at the rim. A visual overture that signals even before the first sip: Substance and maturity await here, no lightweight.

The nose offers ripe stone fruit – peach and apricot in opulent abundance – flanked by exotic accents like mango. Fine citrus freshness shimmers through, along with a hint of damp pebble. Everything appears clearly structured, without losing warmth or depth.

On the palate, dense, creamy, and with noticeable weight. The ripe fruit notes carry far, embraced by an elegant, precise acidity that never cuts, but keeps the wine taut. A subtle sweetness lays like a gentle veil over the long, mineral finish.

The grapes were harvested perfectly healthy and fully ripe, then spontaneously fermented – without intervention, to preserve the pure expression of the site. The interplay of minerality, fruit ripeness and perfectly integrated acidity makes it a Riesling that combines power and elegance.

    Count Neipperg

Success story of the Lemberger-Haus: From the medieval cradle of grape varieties to the VDP top company.

The Graf Neipperg winery in Württemberg is an outstanding winery that has been owned by the Neipperg winegrowing family since the 15th century. The wine-growing tradition on the count's land in the region dates back to the 8th century. With over 30 hectares of vineyards in top locations such as the "Neipperger Schloßberg" and the "Schwaigerner Ruthe", the winery now produces first-class wines, including complex Lemberger, which the Counts of Neipperg brought to the region, Trollinger, juicy and elegant Schwarzrieslings and mineral-dense Rieslings. The winery is a member of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP) and has received numerous awards, including 4 grapes from Gault Millau. The traditional vinification in the vaulted cellar and the special management of steep slopes contribute to the top quality. Under the management of Philipp Erbgraf zu Neipperg and Karl Eugen Graf von Neipperg, the winery stands for proven traditions, coupled with modern winemaking and an impressive overall performance.

Purely genetically, the Blaufränkisch and Lemberger grape varieties are the same. Since there is currently a Blaufränkisch hype going through the German wine world, the winemakers of Württemberg discussed changing the name Lemberger to Blaufränkisch. In the end, they stuck with the original - Württemberg remains Lemberger-Land.
