The Riesling from Scharlachberg is probably the most prominent wine at Prinz Salm. This wonderful Riesling shines golden yellow in our glass.
On the nose we perceive an intense bouquet of citrus fruits and nectarines. Juicy peach and delicate floral nuances refine the aromatic impression. A light exotic note of passion fruit can be heard.
On the palate, the Riesling is opulent, powerful and broad. A long aftertaste brings red fruit aromas in addition to the rather yellow fruit style. Big, round and expansive - also thanks to its lively residual sweetness.
The Scharlachberg brings Rotliegend as the main rock component. The wine was matured in stainless steel.
