The Riesling from Felseneck shines in the glass with a light yellow color. Golden reflections give the Riesling a noble note.
The nose reveals an opulent Riesling scent: ripe pear is floral and is surrounded by plenty of exotic fruit. Here we find passion fruit, gooseberry and kumquat.
On the palate, the pure Riesling impression is challenged by a slight saltiness and a complex minerality. The minerality unfolds in several layers and at the same time remains harmonious.
This Riesling will become very big. We do have a 2019 Riesling in the bottle, but we are excited to see how this wine will continue to mature in the bottle. The vines are 28 years old and all grew on green slate.
