The Vieilles Vignes 2017 was aged with dedication and care in oak barrels to shape its complex personality. The combination of French and American oak gives the wine a subtle spiciness and a fine vanilla note.

Even in pre-Roman times, Lebanese wine was considered a sought-after commodity. This tradition was kept alive by French Jesuits during the centuries of Muslim rule. This is how the Frenchman Francois-Eugène Brun fell in love with the Bekaa Valley in 1868 and founded the first commercial winery in Lebanon, Domaine des Tourelles (French: tourelles = little tower). The winery is now owned by the Issa family (relatives of the Brun family) and is largely managed and run by the younger generation, Faouzi Issa and his sisters Christiane and Johanne.
