    Ripe cherry with vanilla barrique aromas.

    The Pinot Noir from Schwegler swings through the glass in muted garnet red.

    Aromas of ripe cherry, a little earth, juniper berry and the typical vanilla-roasted aromas of the barrique emerge.

    The Pinot also impresses on the palate with its elegant and delicate style, moderate tannins and subtle acidity. This makes the wine appear very light and yet ripe.

    With the new grape variety, Aaron Schwegler has demonstrated another talent: understanding Pinot Noir. This puts him very high up on the Pinot career ladder.

    The Schwegler family controls the nutrition of the vines exclusively through the introduction of organic material, through species-rich sowing and a lot of manual work. This philosophy is consistently continued in the cellar: mostly made from natural wood, their wines are bottled untreated and unfined after a long barrel aging with minimal sulphur. With the 2019 vintage, they had their sustainable working methods in the vineyard, which they have been practicing for decades, certified.
