Weinbeschreibung

Powerful chocolate with tobacco oak.

The 2012 vintage of Il Marroneto Madonna delle Grazie Brunello di Montalcino presents itself in a deep garnet red with ruby red reflections, reminiscent of ripe plums.

The nose is seduced by complex aromas of black fruits, accompanied by notes of tobacco, oak and a hint of chocolate. An intense and fascinating play of scents.

On the palate, the wine impresses with a powerful structure and silky tannins. Aromas of blackberries and dark cherries unfold, accompanied by a subtle spicy note.

The 2012 vintage is made from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes from the Montalcino vineyards. It is aged in French oak barrels.

Il Marroneto is a small winery in Montalcino, Italy, run by brothers Andrea and Alessandro Mori. On 6 hectares with over 30 years of commitment, they produce only about 25,000 bottles of Brunello annually. Traditional winemaking in large oak barrels gives the wine elegance, richness of aromas and classic quality, the result of passionate craftsmanship. A real boutique winery.
