The Grüner Veltliner Höhlgraben impresses with a light green-yellow color and silver reflections.
An explosion of aromas on the nose: mango, a hint of yellow apple, pineapple and fresh orange zest, subtle mineral notes of tobacco.
The wine is taut and tightly woven, but the pleasant fruity sweetness makes it a real pleasure to drink. Last but not least, the lively acidity and the salty finish are responsible for a glamorous mouthfeel. A good length and very fine varietal character.
The wine was harvested by hand, spontaneously fermented in a steel tank and then transferred to a large wooden barrel for further maturation.
