De Lorenzi Vini
Winegrowing in the Roman tradition.
Since Roman times, western Friuli has been considered a region with a very special calling for wine production. In this “terroir”, the De Lorenzi family winery has been producing wine since 1973 with great passion and the aim of marrying technology and tradition.

Proof that ecological action does not have to come at the expense of wine quality.
Since 1973, the De Lorenzi family has been passionately living the wine-growing tradition in Friuli. One thing is particularly important to them: the sustainability of their farming. A lower yield per hectare for better quality, cultivation of the vines without chemicals, clean energy through solar panels and a water purification system for further use in the vineyard: the De Lorenzis, led by family head Carlo, have brilliantly demonstrated that ecological action does not have to come at the expense of wine quality. Friuli and Pinot Grigio simply belong together. It's no wonder that the world's best wines of this variety come from the north-eastern tip of Italy. For us, a typical representative has to be nice and fresh with crisp acidity and wonderful apple and citrus aromas. We found this wonderful wine at the De Lorenzi winery. We liked Carlo and Milena straight away and with their down-to-earth and honest manner you can't help but like them and their wines. Fresh enjoyment is guaranteed here, at an unbeatable price.
Holistic organic viticulture
The decision to cut the grass between the rows of vines mechanically rather than using chemicals is just one example of what the De Lorenzi winery is doing to preserve the local fauna and flora. Its own 20 KW photovoltaic system guarantees energy autonomy and, thanks to the water purification system, the water used in the business is then used in the vineyards.
"Our entire production process is geared towards minimizing environmental impact and continuously seeking to improve quality standards."

Favored by the climate.
