Cuvée Pinot Blanc
Cuvée Pinot Blanc

Fresh peach with apple brioche.
In the glass, the wine shimmers with a fine, sparkling texture and a vibrant golden yellow color. The delicate reflections underline its freshness and elegance. A fine perlage rises evenly, which indicates careful bottle fermentation.
The nose reveals a harmonious play of aromas of ripe apples and juicy peaches, accompanied by a subtle hint of brioche. The yeast notes add a creamy dimension that artfully balances the lively fruitiness.
On the palate, the sparkling wine shows a lively freshness and a finely structured mousse. The fruity aromas of tree fruits merge with subtle yeast notes, which provide a creamy texture and a long-lasting, dry finish.
The wine is produced using traditional bottle fermentation and is made from carefully selected Pinot Blanc grapes from the Baden terroir. This interplay of geological diversity and artisanal expertise makes the sparkling wine a tribute to the Baden sparkling wine art.
Baden pioneers: Aging Burgundy in French barriques was a novelty.
For the “Gebrüder Mathis”, winegrowing on the Tuniberg began two generations ago with a decision: the brothers Bernhard and Paul Mathis began to cultivate the storage areas of their parents' gypsum quarry as vineyards. The brothers quickly realized that their wines had not yet reached their full potential. They therefore decided to mature their Burgundy in French barriques - a first for Baden wine at the time. Inspired by the positive response to a wine that was not intended for sale, but only for their own use, the “Gebrüder Mathis” winery was founded in the 1970s.
