Cuvée Emma Blanc

Weinbeschreibung

Tropical apricot with creamy caramel.

This vintage presents itself in a lively straw yellow with greenish reflections, emphasizing its youth and freshness. In the glass, it displays a clear, luminous appearance with delicate leg formation, hinting at its elegance and structure.

Intense aromas of ripe pear, fresh vanilla and subtle oak caress the nose. Elegant honey notes intertwine with a hint of butter, creating a complex and inviting nose.

On the palate, the wine presents a harmonious balance between freshness and fullness. Tropical fruit notes blend with an elegant acid structure, while delicate creamy nuances and a hint of caramel guarantee a long, appealing finish.

The Cuvée Emma underwent careful aging in French oak barrels, which gives it a subtle woody note and complexity. This highlights the elegance of the Merlot without masking the fruit.

Domaine Grains d'Estuaire

A grain of Bordeaux: Biodynamic terroir wines from the most legendary estuary.

The wine world of the Bordeaux region is shaped by the rivers Garonne and Dordogne. These flow together in the gigantic Gironde estuary, which also gives the department, i.e. the federal state, its name. The wine game of Bordeaux wines distinguishes between right and left of the estuary. The proximity to the Gironde is always relevant. This proximity is also offered by the neighboring region of Charente Maritime and especially the small town of Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde. This is where Julien Bonneau, a respected Bordeaux winemaker from Château Haut Grelot in Blayais, and Alexandre Lavigne, a talented chef from Saint-Palais-sur-Mer, joined forces. On the pebble-rich soil along the Gironde estuary, they cultivate 10 hectares of vineyards using organic and biodynamic methods. Through a careful selection of traditional grape varieties and a deep respect for the terroir, Grains d'Estuaire produces gastronomic wines of exceptional quality and expressiveness that capture the essence of Charente-Maritime and its legendary neighborhood, at prices that Bordeaux fans can only dream of.
