Gewürztraminer Estate 2018
Gewürztraminer Estate
Gewürztraminer Estate
Green pear and exotic ginger.
In the glass, the Gewürztraminer Estate shows a rich straw yellow with golden reflections. The viscosity is visible but not heavy. Clarity and brilliance indicate ripe grapes, clean cellar work, and a concentrated yet controlled style.
On the nose we perceive exotic aromas of ginger, lychee, green pear and orange peel. Floral notes such as elderflower, jasmine blossom and rose petals also come through. A spicy note subtly breaks through in the form of nutmeg.
A very characteristic and fragrant nose is typical for this grape variety. A lot of aromas capture the connoisseur and it immediately becomes clear that it must be Gewürztraminer - in an intense but unobtrusive way. The wine is very authentic, fresh, fine and mild.
The Gewürztraminer comes from selected estate parcels and is vinified completely dry. Late harvesting ensures aromatic depth, while aging in stainless steel preserves clarity. Consciously foregoing oak keeps the grape variety and origin precisely in focus and makes the wine versatile.
