Chablis La Vigne aux Songes

je 100ml
wine description

Mineral mirabelle with sage oak.

The Vigne aux Songes has a soft straw yellow color in the glass.

Distinct citrus notes meet the “Fleurs de Chênes” here. Subtle toast aromas crown the fruity main aromas: yellow apple, mirabelle plum, lime, vineyard peach, apricot, sage, lemon balm and a little bit of lemon thyme.

On the palate, this Chardonnay is powerful and charming. Nevertheless, its oak notes give it a creamy, soft character. Mellowness, minerality and the dominant yellow fruit make this Chardonnay a perfect all-rounder.

If you are not a fan of Chardonnay after this wine, you should try other grape varieties.

Domaine la Meulière

Top-quality Chablis handcrafted from a 9th generation family tradition.

The Laroche family has been cultivating vineyards in the region around the Burgundian village of Chablis since 1779, i.e. for 9 generations. The current operating generation consists of the brothers Nicolas and Vincent Laroche. Both have completed a winemaking apprenticeship in Beaune and work full-time at the winery.
The younger brother, Vincent Laroche, takes over the work in the vineyard, where he is still actively supported by his father. At the same time, he is responsible for exporting the wines. His older brother, Nicolas Laroche, seems a little rougher in private. He loves rugby, but is responsible for the delicate development of the wines in the winery. He masters this balance between rough and graceful to perfection and expresses the terroir in a wonderful and individual way. He is curious and keen to experiment and takes the winery to a new level in the cellar.

For us, it was no question to include these wines in the Vioneers range. We share the Laroches from La Meulière's aim of combining tradition and modernity. We particularly like the approach of not only pleasing proven wine connoisseurs, but also offering enjoyable wines of premium quality. And this is exactly the case with the wines of the Laroche family. Trying them is a must.
