Ripe papaya with woody bread.
Overripe but not overpowering fruits such as banana, papaya and honeydew melon. With a dollop of yoghurt, fresh bread and a subtle hint of wood and leather from the barrel aging. Extremely low yields, hand-picked, fermented in 500 l tonneau barrels, with weekly bâtonnage and bottled unfiltered. An unusual, unique Chardonnay that you can enjoy drinking in front of the fireplace on long winter evenings.
The power of the south, combined with the elegance of the north. A special wine, not only because of the slightly milky color that comes from the unfiltered bottling. 50% of the grapes come from Bad Dürkheim, which is 25 km south of Asselheim, where the other 50% of the grapes come from.

Anyone who gets to know Felix Mayer is usually impressed by his positive, straightforward and always authentic manner. Felix's wines could be described in a similar way.
