Weinbeschreibung

Fruity currant with peppery cherry.

In the glass, a bright, transparent ruby red with slightly brick-red reflections at the rim is revealed. The color appears more Burgundian-delicate than dark and saturated. A Pinot that doesn't boast, but rather shows a quiet presence. The viscosity remains slender, emphasizing the light, elegant style.

The nose is dominated by red fruits such as redcurrant, cherry, and raspberry. These are accompanied by subtle notes of tobacco, dried leaves, and a hint of white pepper. Discreet hints of wood and butter complete the picture without overpowering the fruit.

On the palate, it's light-footed and juicy, almost like a cool sip of red fruit juice with serious depth. The tannins are soft and restrained, more velvety than edgy. A lively, medium acidity keeps everything flowing and ensures an animating drinking pleasure right down to the last sip.

This Pinot Noir focuses on clarity over muscle. The moderate alcohol and restrained tannins indicate careful aging that prioritizes fruit and drinkability. Not an overextracted Pinot, but an honest, cool Rheingau style with true house wine potential.
