    Juicy pineapple with harmonious herbal depth.

    In the glass, the Riserva Guardiani Grillo Magnum displays a clear, intense straw yellow with golden reflections that hint at its maturity and concentration. The color is weightless, with a touch of warmth that evokes its Mediterranean origin.

    The nose interweaves juicy exoticism with a substantial herbal depth, carried by notes of ripe pineapple and mango, flanked by delicate vanilla nuances from the wood. The aroma is expressive and precise, without appearing soft, with vibrant fruit and mineral undertones.

    On the palate, the wine is full and round, with a supporting, fresh acidity that carries the tropical fruit aromas beyond peach nuances. The body is powerful without being cloying, the texture balanced, with a lingering, structured finish that remains precise.

    The Riserva Guardiani Grillo Magnum 2018 is characterized by a masterful aging in oak barrels, which gives the wine a smooth structure and a persistent finish.

    Baglio Oro, the "ray of gold" in the Sicilian wine sky, so to speak, is a typical Italian family winery. Grandfather, father and three grown-up sons continue to contribute with great passion to producing varietal, unpretentious wines. The transition from tradition to modernity is of course being driven by the sons, but without underestimating the family traditions and the long wine-growing history of Sicily. The Mediterranean sun pumps its strength into the grapes here during the day, and the proximity to the sea brings a cool breeze at night. The highlight of Baglio Oro: grapes are grown on around 100 hectares, a very impressive area. However, 90% of the grapes are sold to large bottlers who process them further and make supermarket customers all over the world happy by the hectoliter. The best 10%, however, are kept for the wines of the winery itself.
