The Cristom Eileen Vineyard Pinot Noir shimmers in deep ruby red with violet nuances. The medium intensity and clarity of the wine in the glass give it an elegant appearance and suggest a harmonious balance and mature structure.
Strong aromas of cherry, raspberry and strawberry unfold on the nose, complemented by earthy notes such as smoke and mushroom. A hint of vanilla and cola rounds off the bouquet, while spicy tones such as pepper and cinnamon enrich the scent.
On the palate, the wine has a silky texture with a lively acidity and gentle, yet present tannins. Red and black fruits unfold harmoniously alongside spicy wood notes and ensure a full-bodied, long-lasting finish with elegant depth.
This Pinot Noir is grown in the cool, Pacific-side conditions of the Eola-Amity Hills, which ensure slow ripening and intense flavors. The volcanic soils promote minerality and balance, making this wine a characterful expression of its terroir.

Cristom Vineyards, a family business in the Eola-Amity Hills of Oregon since 1992, is a prime example of a successful family winery that masters the balancing act between sustainability and performance. The Gerrie family, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, named the winery after their children Christina and Tom (ChRIS-TOM) in 1992 and is committed to producing exceptional wines. The winery primarily cultivates Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on a vineyard area of around 36 hectares. The winery's philosophy is based on a deep connection to nature and the belief that the quality of the wine is already decided in the vineyard. Cristom Vineyards is characterized by its family atmosphere, with the second generation of the Gerrie family, with Tom Gerrie as winemaker in particular, committed to maintaining the heritage and further developing innovative viticulture and cellar techniques. Their ecological focus and biodynamic farming methods contribute to the uniqueness of their wines, which are highly recognized in the wine world, especially in America but also recently in Europe. In 2023, the winery was among the top 100 wineries in the world by Wine & Spirits magazine for the eighth year in a row. The wines are served in the best restaurants in the world.
