    Fruity peach with buttery vanilla.

    In the glass, it presents itself in a bright, golden-yellow hue with delicate greenish reflections, glistening like sunbeams through morning mist. Crystal clear, with a slight viscosity at the rim of the glass – an appearance that hints at elegance and power in equal measure, making you eager for the first sip.

    The nose reveals an exciting interplay: juicy green apple and ripe peach notes meet a hint of butter and vanilla. Subtle accents of fennel and salty minerality add a delicate tension to the aroma, while quiet marzipan notes hint at mature charm.

    The palate is taut, juicy, and grippy, with an acidity that cuts through the fruit like a well-honed knife. The creaminess of butter and oak is counterbalanced by saline freshness. Peach and apple provide fruit fullness, while the finish remains clear, long, and vibrant.

    The wine comes from the chalky soils of the Mâconnais, which lend the Chardonnay its tension and minerality. Gentle oak usage adds texture without overpowering the freshness. The result is a Burgundy that balances tradition with modern precision – timeless, concise, distinctive.

    Domaine de la Creuze Noire

    The Martin family has been cultivating 32 hectares of vineyards in the French white wine epicenter since 1983. The result of terroir, talent and passion are first-class wines.

    In the middle of the hotspot
    The family winery Creuze Noire is located in the enchanted village of Leynes and creates a connection between two worlds. The vineyards are cultivated in Beaujolais and Mâcon (Burgundy), as the winery is conveniently located right in the middle of these two wine worlds. With his craftsmanship and dedication, the winemaker Dominique Martin manages to wonderfully tease out the typical characteristics of the two regions.

    Dominique and Christine Martin are the fifth generation to run this winery and are continually developing it. When Dominique took over his parents' business, the family farmed 5 hectares; today it is almost 30 hectares. In addition, the cellar and storage rooms have been expanded. What has remained unchanged and is still the heart of the estate is the idyllic sandstone family house.

    The range
    The wines of the Domaine de la Creuze Noire are consistently authentic and honest. The St. Véran is considered an insider tip and is fresh on the nose and opulent in taste.
    Here the diversity of the grape variety is clearly evident. The icing on the cake is the Pouilly Fuissé “Le Clos de Monsieur Noly”, which was aged in wood for 12 months. This wine is in the top league. The range is complemented by the Beaujolais Rosé, which is fresh and clean and shows another facet of the winemaker's skills.
