wine description

Intense apricot with crisp blossom.

Brilliant golden yellow with green reflections, this Grüner Veltliner presents itself in the glass and underlines its maturity.

The nose is wooed by intense aromas of ripe apricots, crisp apples and delicate flowers, accompanied by subtle mineral notes.

On the palate, an impressive mouthfeel unfolds with a harmonious combination of creamy softness, lively acidity and a complex flavor profile of apricots, apple and a hint of honey.

This special wine from the 2011 vintage is characterized by the careful care of the old vines in the Höhlgraben. The wine was aged in oak barrels, giving the wine a fascinating depth and elegance. Why this wine is special: A masterpiece that combines the essence of terroir and craftsmanship.

For 300 years and ten generations, top-quality wines have been produced here by hand: It is not without reason that the Malat family winery in the Krems Valley is one of the most renowned wineries in the country.
