    Mineral lemon with lively almond honey.

    A brilliant, bright straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections characterizes the appearance of this Riesling. The color indicates freshness and youth, while the clarity reflects the precision and elegance of the wine.

    The bouquet reveals intense aromas of lemon, grapefruit and apricot, accompanied by mineral notes and a hint of honey. Subtle nuances of almond and floral accents give the fragrance depth and complexity.

    On the palate, the wine is taut and dry with lively acidity and a finely structured texture. The yellow fruit aromas are accompanied by a subtle earthiness and a slightly oily consistency. The finish is long, stimulating and minerally.

    This Riesling comes from the Silberbichl site, a first-class 1ÖTW vineyard in the Krems Valley. The barren soils of loess and slate characterize the mineral structure. Careful hand-picking and gentle vinification give the wine its precision and elegance - a top Riesling from Austria.

    Malat winery

    For 300 years and ten generations: a family lives for honest top-quality wine that you drink and not just taste.

    Winemaking was already practiced in the Krems Valley during the Roman Empire - the oldest archaeological finds were even found near the Malat winery. Not quite as old but still a lot: the winemaking tradition in the Malat family. 300 years of winemaking expertise now culminates in the 10th generation: "The diversity of our range reflects the long tradition and potential of our region," says Michael Malat. The local wines from Furth, as an entry into the range, provide a lot of drinking pleasure. Not too complicated, but honest quality. In the top segment, Riesling and Grüner Veltliner come from the first vineyards "Silberbichl" and "Gottschelle". With these wines, you can discover the complex terroir of the Krems Valley directly in the glass. And not to be neglected are the sparkling wines from the Malat house. Father Gerald produced Austria's first sparkling wine in 1976. Malat Brut was born.
