Fresh vanilla peach with butterscotch.
The Chardonnay is a clear, bright yellow gold with greenish reflections. The brilliant color and dense viscosity indicate a wine with a structured texture and complex aroma spectrum that appears lively in the glass.
In the nose we already perceive the precision and grace of a great Burgundy wine, while at the same time the power and weight of a Californian Chardonnay resonates. Aromas of yellow fruit, apricot, quince, yeast plait, butter, pineapple and salted lemon beguile the explorer. An omnipresent vanilla note underlines the elegant range of flavors.
On the palate, the wine has a balanced, creamy texture and a refreshing, lively acidity. The fruity aromas of stone fruit and citrus are complemented by a mineral note and a subtle oak spice, resulting in a long, elegant finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool vineyards of the Okanagan Valley. The wine is 100% barrique fermented and aged on the lees for ten months, giving it a beautiful structure and additional complexity while maintaining its freshness.
