wine description

Noble melon with vanilla oak.

The Martin Waßmer Grauburgunder 2019 presents itself in the glass in a radiant gold tone with greenish reflections, which indicates the ripeness of the grapes and the careful vinification.

A bouquet of melon, quince and pear unfolds, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla, coffee and oak. The aromas reflect the terroir characteristics of the Baden region.

The mouthfeel is silky and soft, while the taste offers a harmonious fusion of tree fruits, oak spice and a subtle dried fruit note. A light acid structure gives the wine freshness.

This Pinot Gris was cultivated and pressed with dedication in the heart of Baden. The grapes come from the renowned Letten site and the wine was carefully matured in oak barrels. The result is a unique taste experience.

The special location, the careful development and the unique vinification combine to create a Pinot Gris that embodies the elegance of Baden. This wine is a reflection of tradition, craftsmanship and terroir.
