Fruity raspberry with vanilla pepper.
An intense ruby red with violet reflections that shimmers vividly in the glass. The clear structure and slight shine indicate a young, fresh wine that already promises fruit and elegance with its color intensity.
The nose reveals aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and strawberries, accompanied by a hint of black pepper and cinnamon. Subtle hints of smoke, vanilla and mineral notes give the bouquet a spicy and earthy depth.
On the palate, fruity with notes of cherry and blueberry, embedded in soft tannins. An elegant acidity gives freshness, while the spicy nuances of pepper and smoke on the finish provide complexity. Harmonious and wonderfully accessible.
The Zweigelt benefits from the mineral-rich soils of the Krems Valley and the optimal balance of sunshine and cool nights. By aging in oak barrels, it gains its spicy depth without losing the fruity lightness of the grape variety.
