wine description

Creamy pears with delicate oak spice.

A sparkling, golden yellow appearance with green nuances gives the Von Winning Weisser Burgunder I 2019 a visual elegance that raises expectations of quality.

The nose is caressed by a seductive bouquet of ripe peaches, juicy pears and a hint of vanilla and subtle oak.

This wine enchants the palate with a silky texture and presents a balanced harmony of creamy fullness, fresh acidity and a rich flavor spectrum of juicy peaches and pears.

The uniqueness of this wine lies in the artistic fusion of hand-picked grapes from the renowned vineyards of the Palatinate and the maturation in carefully selected oak barrels, which give it a subtle oak spice.

The von Winning winery in Deidesheim, Palatinate, combines tradition and modernity. Founded in 1849 as "Deinhard", it became a founding member of the VDP under Leopold von Winning. The vineyards in renowned locations, including Ölberg and Ungeheuer, are 85% dedicated to Riesling. Under the management of Stephan Attmann and Jana Seeger, the winery stands for historical heritage, first-class wines and a unique wine-growing tradition.
