This northern Italian red wine impresses with its deep purple color, which shows elegant reflections of ruby and violet in the glass. The dense color indicates a concentrated, full-bodied structure, which already visually promises an intense taste experience.
A complex bouquet of ripe cherries and red currants unfolds on the nose, accompanied by hints of oak, tobacco and vanilla. Subtle notes of plum, black currant and a hint of cocoa complement the aromatic variety.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with fine tannins and a harmonious acid structure. The taste of red fruits and black berries is rounded off by earthy nuances and a spicy note of pepper. The finish is long-lasting and pleasantly soft.
This wine is made from the indigenous Carménère grape variety in the Colli Berici region. The vineyards benefit from the unique soil composition and mild climate of northern Italy. The careful hand-picking and traditional vinification, including aging in oak barrels, give the wine its special depth and complexity.
