Miradouro Magnum 2015

The Quinta do Pôpa Miradouro is a deep, violet ruby ​​red with dark reflections. The dense color signals intensity and maturity, while the clear, elegant streaks indicate a rich structure and complexity.

Notes of blackberries, black cherries and cherries unfold on the nose, accompanied by smoky and earthy accents such as leather. Fine nuances of vanilla, cinnamon and liquorice complement the bouquet, which is rounded off by floral tones of violets.

On the palate, the juiciest plum and dark berry are confirmed, paired with fine cedar wood. The acidity is well integrated, the tannin is velvety.

This wine is made from the best traditional grape varieties of the Douro Valley, which grow on steep slate terraces. The aging in oak barrels gives it depth and elegance, while the manual work in the vineyards underlines its authenticity and terroir-influenced quality.
