    Weinbeschreibung

    Rich peach with juicy lime.

In the glass, it presents itself as concentrated and clear, with a medium to rich lemon yellow reminiscent of candied citrus zest. The viscosity is high, the streaks on the glass trail slowly – a visual promise of substance and structure.

Put your nose to it – and immediately a mix of yellow peach, ripe lime and wet stone comes through. There are also delicate notes of honey and herbs, a hint of pineapple and floral nuances like apple blossom. This smells of depth, not show.

On the palate, the Riesling really grabs you – with juicy fruit, salty minerality, and a precise, vibrant acidity that provides structure like a freshly strung wire. Tropical aromas flicker, but are immediately reined in by chalky coolness. Not a cuddly type – more an athlete in a custom-made suit.

Grown on calcareous marl in the heart of the Palatinate: the legendary Kallstadter Saumagen vineyard. Hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented, long aging on the full lees – nothing is embellished here; it is precisely crafted. A single-vineyard wine with poise, character, and inner calm.
