    Weinbeschreibung

    Mineral cherry with spicy herbs.

A clear, bright ruby red with slightly translucent purple nuances. The color radiates freshness and elegance and suggests an expressive yet delicate wine - an inviting sight that inspires tasting.

On the nose, aromas of cherry and strawberry combine with mineral and earthy notes. Accompanied by a subtle spice of pepper and herbs as well as floral hints of rose petals, the bouquet reveals complex nuances and depth.

On the palate, the wine is elegant and balanced, with lively acidity and fine tannins. The red fruit aromas unfold harmoniously and lead to a long-lasting, mineral finish that leaves a fine spiciness - refreshing and expressive.

This Nerello Mascalese grows on the volcanic soils of Sicily and benefits from the Mediterranean climate. Careful hand-picking and vinification preserve the special character of the wine - an elegant expression of the Sicilian terroir that combines freshness and mineral complexity.

The Giodo winery, founded by Carlo Ferrini, represents the combination of Tuscan winemaking art with Sicilian authenticity. Ferrini uses the unique conditions of the Etna terroir to cultivate Nerello Mascalese in its pure, elegant form, thus capturing the soul of Sicily in the glass.
