    Weinbeschreibung

Ripe melon with a hint of walnut.

This Chardonnay has a golden, intense color with a radiant shine in the glass. The visual appearance is evidence of high quality and promises a rich taste experience. Light reflections of greenish nuances indicate its freshness and youth.

The bouquet of this wine unfolds aromas of ripe melon, citrus fruits and a hint of hazelnuts. The nose is surrounded by an elegant vanilla scent, which comes from storage in French barriques and gives the wine depth and complexity.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and crisp. The well-integrated acidity provides a pleasant freshness that harmonizes perfectly with the lush fruit aromas. The long finish is accompanied by subtle wood tones, which gives the wine an additional dimension.

The Chardonnay is made from carefully selected grapes and stored in French barriques for both vinification and aging. This method emphasizes the complexity and gives the wine its unique character and structure.

    Cascina Galarin

Serving the Terroir since 1781 – Wine with Heart, Rooster, and Hand

Imagine entering a wine cellar whose foundation was laid over 200 years ago. Above the heavy wooden door, a carved rooster proudly displays itself – the heraldic animal of the Carosso family, which gave the winery Cascina Galarin its name. Wine has actually been growing here in Castagnole delle Lanze since 1781, but it wasn't until Giuseppe Carosso joined the business in the late 1980s that a new era began: He bottled under his own name for the first time and radically shifted the philosophy to quality and terroir. Today, Giuseppe and his sons Marco and Giovanni work hand in hand. On only about seven hectares of vineyards, distinctive organic wines are produced here. The oldest Barbera vines are almost 90 years old – a living heritage that the Carossos cultivate with dedication. Their passion is dedicated to the classic varieties of Piedmont: Barbera, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Moscato... Even their own Barolo from Monforte d'Alba is now part of their portfolio. Whether it's a fruity-sparkling Moscato d'Asti, a mineral-clear Arneis, a profound Barbera, or an elegant Barolo – the wines of Cascina Galarin bring the diversity of Piedmont into the glass, honest and unadulterated. It's no wonder that this small family winery is considered a real insider tip among connoisseurs. Discover Cascina Galarín at the foot of the Alps – or as the Romans say: "Ad pedem montium" – in Piedmont.
