    The Nuits Saint Georges Premier Cru from Taupenot-Merme reveals a vibrant ruby ​​red color with violet reflections that underline its youth and freshness.

    The nose is dominated by intense aromas of red berries such as fresh raspberries and juicy cherries. Nuances of floral notes, such as violets, add elegance to the bouquet.

    On the palate, the wine is smooth and fruity. Notes of blackberry and fine spices blend into a fresh, lively taste experience with silky tannins.

    This vintage was carefully aged in traditional French oak barrels, creating a harmonious balance between fruit, structure and subtle wood notes.

    Domaine Taupenot - Merme

    Virginie and Romain have revived a sleeping giant.

    The siblings Virginie and Romain Taupenot cultivate over 13 hectares with 19 appellations from Auxey-Duressees in the south to Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the Côte d'Or, producing a range that is as diverse as it is qualitatively homogeneous. Since the beginning of the millennium, organic farming without labels has revived a wine region that was born in 1974 from the union of the two owner families and that has since then awaited the passionate commitment of the current generation of owners to revive the full potential of the highly sought-after plots, in particular Mazoyères-Chambertin and Charmes Chambertin in the Grand Cru.
