    Weinbeschreibung

Vanilla cherry with a hint of leather.

The Morey Saint Denis Villages 2022 presents itself in a vibrant garnet red, bright and clear, and already visually promises the depth and complexity of this Pinot Noir.

The nose is caressed by a harmonious play of spices, white pepper and ripe red fruits, seduced with notes of raspberry and a hint of sweet tobacco.

A smooth start on the palate, accompanied by velvety tannins, leads to a fruity experience. Red berries dominate, while a subtle oak note gives the wine structure.

The wine matures in traditional oak barrels, which emphasize its elegance. The careful craftsmanship and the pursuit of perfection shape the character of this outstanding Pinot Noir.

    Domaine Taupenot - Merme

Virginie and Romain have revived a sleeping giant.

The siblings Virginie and Romain Taupenot cultivate over 13 hectares with 19 appellations from Auxey-Duressees in the south to Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the Côte d'Or, producing a range that is as diverse as it is qualitatively homogeneous. Since the beginning of the millennium, organic farming without labels has revived a wine region that was born in 1974 from the union of the two owner families and that has since then awaited the passionate commitment of the current generation of owners to revive the full potential of the highly sought-after plots, in particular Mazoyères-Chambertin and Charmes Chambertin in the Grand Cru.
