    Weinbeschreibung

Cherry fireworks with a delicate rose note.

The Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2015 presents itself in deep ruby red with garnet reflections, reveals an impressive viscosity and leaves elegant streaks on the glass.

The nose combines intense aromas of ripe raspberries, black cherries and subtle notes of fine oak. Nuances of spices and a hint of rose petals give it a seductive complexity.

On the palate, this wine presents itself with a silky texture and a harmonious tannin structure. The taste is characterized by red fruits, accompanied by an elegant acidity and a long-lasting, seductively spicy finish.

The Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2015 was vinified with the utmost precision and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. This careful craftsmanship gives the wine its remarkable structure and elegance.

    Domaine Taupenot - Merme

Virginie and Romain have revived a sleeping giant.

The siblings Virginie and Romain Taupenot cultivate over 13 hectares with 19 appellations from Auxey-Duressees in the south to Gevrey-Chambertin in the north of the Côte d'Or, producing a range that is as diverse as it is qualitatively homogeneous. Since the beginning of the millennium, organic farming without labels has revived a wine region that was born in 1974 from the union of the two owner families and that has since then awaited the passionate commitment of the current generation of owners to revive the full potential of the highly sought-after plots, in particular Mazoyères-Chambertin and Charmes Chambertin in the Grand Cru.
