This elegant wine swings through the glass in a deep dark red with a slight violet shimmer.
The wine smells dark: dried plums, blackberry, tobacco, cinnamon, sour cherry and earth.
The strengths of the cuvée become clear on the palate: the berry acidity, the cherry-like drinkability, a soft and silky tannin but at the same time a spicy fullness. Aromas of juicy sour cherry, slightly peppery nuances and a silky tannin. With a lot of drinkability and character, this powerful wine is very balanced, round and full-bodied.
The diversity of grape varieties creates a masterpiece. Grenache brings power and smoothness, Syrah adds floral but also spicy notes, and Mourvèdre and Counoise provide length and structure.
